Joint Management Team

The Joint Management Team works with the Board around business planning and setting a strategic direction. The team also has overall executive responsibility.

Current team members

Jeff Skipp Jeff Skipp joined Ability in July 2016 as CEO, bringing with him 30 years’ experience of working in health, social care and housing. Jeff has a particular interest in equality and social justice, and has worked for and led organisations that are focused on developing inclusive services and opportunities for people with a disability.
Rita Asamoah Rita Asamoah is Director of Care and Support, having joined Ability in April 2017. She has significant experience of working in adult mental health, learning disability, autism, complex needs and community services, across all sectors. Rita most recently held business development management roles at Priory Adult Care and was formerly National Talking Therapy Manager at Turning Point.


David Fox David Fox is Head of Care and Support. He has almost 30 years’ experience in housing and social care. David has managed residential care homes, supported housing schemes and floating support services for all vulnerable client groups.
Diane Thompson is Head of Housing. She joined Ability in May 2016. Diane has 30 years’ experience in housing management and a background in compliance and customer service. She was previously the Group Compliance Manager for East Thames Housing based in London.
